Magical Night — Stars and a Campfire in the Parkent Mountains

17:00 — Meeting point Brookland car wash car park, Uzbekiston Ovozi street 2. For a small group the trip runs in a comfortable-class minibus. 17:30 — Departure from Tashkent 18:00 — Stop at a roadside shop Everyone picks up snacks and drinks for the picnic. 19:30 — Arrival The tour of the institute and museum begins — including the remarkable chandelier. Then we climb to the campfire, where the telescope is set up. We observe stars and planets: Polaris, the Big Dipper, Cassiopeia, the surface of the Moon and other objects in the night sky. The astronomer answers questions. The evening by the fire: baked potatoes, tea, music, dancing and games with a DJ. 22:30 — The group gathers and walks down to the bus 23:00 — Departure for Tashkent 00:00 — Approximate arrival in Tashkent ⚠️ Telescope observation depends on the weather and cloud cover. The rest of the programme — the tour, the campfire, the music and supper by the fire — runs regardless.
