About This Tour
🌊 A genuine expedition through the most atmospheric corners of Karakalpakstan. The open expanse of the Ustyurt plateau, ancient Silk Road fortresses, the ship cemetery at Muynak, and a night in yurts on the shore of the Aral Sea. What to expect: • A flight to Nukus and onward travel in Toyota Prado 4x4s • The Savitsky Museum in Nukus • Sudochye and Kubla Ustyurt — the plateau panoramas • A night in a yurt camp on the Aral shore • Sunrise over the Aral Sea • The 12th–14th century Kurgancha-kala fortress • The ship cemetery at Muynak • The sacred complex of Mizdakhan 🏕 Four people per yurt. The camp has a freshwater shower and toilets. ✈️ The Tashkent — Nukus — Tashkent flights are NOT included and are paid separately: from 1,900,000 UZS return.
