About This Tour
🌿 The Fergana valley is one of the most distinctive corners of Uzbekistan, where old crafts and eastern traditions are still practised. Margilan and its silk, Rishtan ceramics, the Khudoyar Khan palace in Kokand and the Mehrigiyo herbal oasis. What to expect: • The S. Umarov silk factory in Margilan • The factory shop, at producer prices • The Pirsiddik mausoleum • The sacred Khoja Ilgor cave near Rishtan • A pottery workshop and the art of Rishtan ceramics • The Mehrigiyo complex — medicinal herbs, teas and traditional remedies • The Jami mosque and a tasting of Kokand halva • The Khudoyar Khan palace in Kokand • All meals throughout the tour 🍷 The gala dinner on the first evening includes a wine tasting. 🚐 Transport is a Mercedes Sprinter or similar. The vehicle depends on group size and may be a tourist coach or a minibus of the same standard.
